Position: Food and Beverage Assistant
Reporting to: Food and Beverage General Manager
Overall Objective. Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks, food and drinks.
Summary of Duties
Responsible for:-
· Greeting customers and offering restaurant or cafe menus
· Answering questions about menu offerings
· Processing food and drink orders
· Carrying food and drinks from kitchen to tables, and preparing bills and processing payments
· Setting and cleaning tables and service areas
· Dealing with customer complaints
· Checking with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
· Escorting customers to their tables
· Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
· Informing customers of daily specials.
· Presenting menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
· Removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
· Serving food and/or beverages to customers; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required
· Stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens

TECHNICAL SKILLS & GENERAL AND ADVANCED LEGAL COMPLIANCE:
· To adhere to all company rules, regulations and procedures
· Supervision of table & restaurant cleanliness
GENERAL
· To attend and contribute to all relevant training for Macclesfield FC Staff
· To attend all relevant Macclesfield FC staff meetings
· To keep up to date with all Macclesfield FC correspondence
· Ensure you are aware of and keep updated in regards to best practice policies
· To be prepared to do other duties to further the development of Macclesfield FC as and when required
Essential

· Hold a full UK driving licence.
· Previous experience in catering hospitality, fine dining or banqueting environment

· The ability to accurately process information/merchandise through the Till system with a good standard of numeracy
· Excellent customer service skills
· First class communication skills and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Full Service Servers: 1 year (preferred)
