We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected construction company looking for an experienced Project Administrator to join their team in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in construction, fit-out, or site-based project support who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping complex projects organised and on track.
Please note: Applicants must have previous or current experience working in the UK construction industry to be considered. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full administrative support to Project Managers and site teams
- Create and maintain project documentation, including RAMS, O&M manuals, and drawing registers
- Manage subcontractor files, material orders, and delivery schedules
- Book travel and accommodation for site staff where required
- Handle purchase orders, GRNs, and support general procurement processes
- Assist with compliance, ISO documentation, and internal project reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in construction, fit-out, or site-based project administration
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) – Sage, Clarus, or similar systems a bonus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive team player who can manage competing priorities
Location & Hours:
- Based in Oldham (OL4) – easily accessible via public transport
- Monday to Friday – full-time office-based role
