Hotel Receptionist - Snitterfield, Stratford-Upon-Avon - Permanent
Hours between 8am and 7pm. Monday to Sunday - Two weekends off per month.
Excellent working environment and supportive team. £12.21 per hour plus benefits.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanour.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest enquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and cancellations.
- Process payments and ensure all transactions are handled securely.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining the reception area.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is crucial and hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
- You must be able to get to our site, which is in a rural location so you will likely be a car driver.
- You must be well presented with a smart and professional appearance.
- Experience in using Rezlynx would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills are a must for this role and the ability to make each and every visitor feel incredibly welcome.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues alike.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems (training provided if needed).
- A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
