Are you an experienced EL/PL Solicitor or Fee Earner ready to step up or continue leading a high-performing legal team?
We’re looking for an accomplished EL/PL Team Leader to oversee and inspire a team of dedicated Fee Earners, while also managing a small, high-quality caseload of your own.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, support, and develop a team of EL/PL Fee Earners to deliver excellent results and client satisfaction.
• Manage your own small but complex caseload of EL/PL files from inception to conclusion.
• Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews to enhance team capability and morale.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ensure the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of case handling across the team.
• Review technical aspects of claims and assist with more complex or high-value matters.
• Resolve escalated client issues and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategy around claim mitigation, legal risk, and process improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience handling EL/PL claims, with at least 2 years in a team leader or supervisory capacity.
• A solid track record of running an EL/PL caseload from start to finish.
• Previous experience in a legal or claims environment with strong technical knowledge.
• A natural leader who can inspire, guide, and build an effective team.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to best-in-class legal service.
• Solicitor or FCILEX qualification preferred but not essential.
