Location: Kings Walk, Nottingham City Centre.

Hours:

40 hours per week across 5 days

Weekday Hours: 09:00 – 17:30

Saturday Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

30 minutes lunch break

Salary

(Salary based on experience) £25,396 base + Commission after successful probation period

Stephen Donald Eyewear is an independent eyewear company known for our curated selection of designer frames and exceptional customer care. We're a small, close-knit business passionate about providing a personal, memorable service and we’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team.

What you’ll do:

-Deliver excellent customer service in-store and virtually.

-Manage filing and day-to-day administrative tasks.

-Assist with our e-commerce site.

-Work with brand representatives to select and buy in new stock.

-Fit lenses and assist in adjusting glasses for customers.

-Respond to customer emails and reviews.

-Be part of the team that keeps our boutique running smoothly.

-Uphold visual merchandising and shop standards.

What we’re looking for:

-Great communication skills and a warm, friendly attitude

-Administrative skills and attention to detail

-A keen eye for personal style and fashion

-Previous experience in optics, retail or a customer-facing role is appreciated but not essential

-Sales experience is a bonus
