You will also be required to work an occasional evening for our social nights (disco or other event) which take place every couple of months - these are always planned in advance.
There is flexibility and as a company we strive for a good work/life balance for our team. If you are flexible with us we will be flexible and accommodating with you.

The role will involve leading and providing support to groups. You may be working alongside other colleagues or lone working (full training and shadowing provided before this happens).
(b) Another aspect of the role will be based at our second-hand shop and cafe in Redditch. Eventually this part of the role will involve lone working and being repsonsible for opening up, cashing up and closing up the shop.
(c) Another part of the role will involve supporting our service users in the community - this involves picking them up from their home and supporting them to go shopping, go cinema, for food such as lunch or breakfast, pub, walks, places of interest etc. This may be on a 1-1 basis or it may be two friends who want to go out together with support staff. This will include picking people up from their homes in Redditch, Bromsgrove or Droitwich - hence the need for a driver.
(d) Finally - we also offer at least 2 residential holidays per year to our service users. These are usually 4 night breaks to Butlin's or similar resort.
