Families First Outreach Worker – Worcester/Malvern and Redditch/Wychavon

Two full time post with a flexible working pattern of 37 hours per week.

Families First team are seeking two exceptional candidates who are focused on facilitating positive outcomes for our children and young people within Worcestershire.

You will be part of a friendly, innovative multi-disciplinary pod with the key priority of building on existing strengths within the family in order to manage times of crisis or emerging challenges.

Within your role you will work directly with Children & Parents within their own homes. A key attribute is the ability to build a positive working relationship with our children and families in order for their plan of support to progress. You will be expected to liaise with our internal and external partners who are integral to plans in place.

In order to support you to do the best job possible you will be directly managed and supervised by leaders who are passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children. In terms of the disciplines you will be working alongside they are a Money Mentor, Family Support Worker, Youth Mentor, Substance Misuse, Emotional Health/Wellbeing Workers, Family Decision Coordinators and Advanced Social Work Practitioners
