Front-of-House staff required, immediate start available, £10 per hour + tips. Full-Time, Part-Time, various shift patterns available over 5-day week (including weekends) for our Front of House Staff.

At The Sun Inn, Feering we are recruiting for full-time Front-of-House to join our busy, but cosy village pub situated in the beautiful Essex countryside (CO5 9NH). Our customers are greeted with a warm welcome by our friendly team and enjoy a range of locally sourced guest ales and freshly prepared seasonal food, and we are looking to add to our team.

As part of our Front of House/Bar Staff team ideally you will have had previous experience in a busy bar.

• Have a happy and welcoming demeaner
• Excellent communicative and customer care skills
• Have had experience in Cocktails and Coffee preparation
• Energetic, punctual, and reliable with a pro-active approach to your work
• Wine knowledge is preferable as we have an extensive wine list
• Bar serving and waiting service experience

>> IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• You will be required to work Tuesday to Sunday.
• You must be able to drive or walk to Sun Inn, Feering Hill, Feering, CO5 9NH.
• You must be able to work evening and weekends.
• Lunch 11.15 - 16.00, Evenings 17:30 - 00:00, Weekends 11:00 - 00:00. Please do not apply if cannot work any of these times.
• You must be able to work Bank Holiday Monday.
• You must complete the account sign up and the screening questions. Please check your emails when you apply on our site.

HOW YOU JOIN

Once we have a vacant position, we request you send your CV and a covering letter stating why you would like to work with us and what you can to contribute to our business.

We then invite you in for an interview/assessment/trial which generally takes around 2 hours. During this time, you will have the chance to ask us as many questions as you like so come prepared. During the assessment/trial section, depending on your position, we will be looking for people to have energy, initiative, awareness, and personality.

Once we have seen all candidates, we will decide and inform you of it. If you join us, you will be inducted and given contracts, handbooks, and relevant company information.

You will spend a minimum of 6 shifts as an extra while you learn the basics of your role. You will then undergo thorough training over the next 6-12 weeks until you are fully inducted.

Pay: £12.41 per hour
