Job Description: Client & Marketing Lead – Events & Hospitality

Overview:

Eden Caterers is a leading, sustainable catering company in Waterloo, London with over 30 years of experience delivering fresh, seasonal food to organisations across Central London. We are looking for a strategic and creative marketing professional to lead our brand, communications, and digital presence - while also playing a key role in client relationship management. This role combines hands-on marketing execution with proactive client engagement.

We’re looking for someone with experience in the hospitality or catering sector, and a strong understanding of the London food and events market. You’ll shape how Eden is seen, heard, and experienced, both online and in person and help us grow meaningful client relationships across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Services & Account Management

  • Manage relationships with key corporate and venue clients to maintain retention and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier clients, managing enquiries, feedback and issue resolution.
  • Attend regular existing and new client visits to understand catering needs and promote Eden’s full offering.
  • Support team members in managing day-to-day accounts and smaller clients.
  • Track client engagement and pipeline activity through BuddyCRM; ensure accurate and up-to-date client records and follow-up actions.

Marketing & Digital

  • Lead the planning and creation of marketing collateral including seasonal menus, newsletters, brochures and white papers.
  • Manage and update content across all digital platforms including the website and e-commerce channels, liaising with developers as needed.
  • Oversee the company’s social media presence (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) including content creation, posting, and paid ad management.
  • Plan and execute e-marketing campaigns including monthly newsletters and seasonal updates.
  • Work with SEO/PPC consultants to coordinate Google AdWords and other digital campaigns.
  • Organise and lead quarterly photo shoots and manage Eden’s portfolio of images for use across marketing assets.

Sales & Marketing Reporting

  • Monitor and report on client account growth, new business development, and marketing campaign performance.
  • Prepare and present a monthly summary of sales and marketing metrics to the leadership team, including insights and recommendations.
  • Use CRM and digital tools (e.g., BuddyCRM, social media analytics, e-marketing platforms) to track trends and measure effectiveness.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in both client relationship management and marketing (ideally in food, hospitality, or creative industries).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, proactive approach.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Design skills with experience creating engaging, branded marketing collateral
  • Strong understanding of brand equity and tone of voice, and how to apply both consistently across marketing channels and client communications.
  • Highly organised and confident working independently, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise, balancing creative ideas with strategic and commercial goals.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and familiar with CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of BuddyCRM or similar CRM systems desirable.
  • Experience with digital advertising and basic analytics a plus.

Working Arrangement:

The role is based at our Waterloo office. Fridays may be worked from home at the discretion of the Board.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
