Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Grooming Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our grooming professionals in providing high-quality grooming services for pets. Your passion for animal care and customer service will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Duties

• Carry out bathing, drying, and brushing pets to maintain their hygiene and appearance.
• Prepare grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
• Handle animals safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the grooming area and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming services.
• Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals as required during the grooming process.
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions.

Skills

• Able ,to demonstrate a genuine love for Dogs
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with pet owners.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the pet and yourself.
• Good communication skills to effectively relay information between pet owners and groomers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
