Amcol Scotland Ltd are committed to the care and welfare of young people in a childcare environment and are seeking to recruit an Out of School Club Worker within Firtrees Nursery & Out of School Club.

The suitable candidate will be hands on, self-motivated, be able to work on their own and as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day implementation of the curriculum. Providing care and education for children aged 0-16 years and maintaining a high level of communication with service users.

The hours for this post at 11:45am - 6pm during term-time, and over the school holidays candidates will be expected to be flexible to cover our play-scheme.

To be considered for this post you must have formal qualifications with the minimum of an SVQ in Playwork, although an HNC in Childhood Practice is desirable.

As part of our vetting procedure the successful candidate will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of joining us, and join the PVG Scheme if they are not already.
