Job Description
Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities incorporating winter gritting and work of an emergency nature that support the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.Responsibilities

This is a permanent full time post, working 37 hours per week. The post is based at Gauchalland Roads Depot, Galston, although due to the nature of the post you will work throughout East & South Ayrshire. Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm & Friday 8am - 3.30pm The annual salary for the post is £27,436 - £28,725 East Ayrshire Council is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from all members of the community.
