Castle Dairies are an award-winning butter manufacturer based in Caerphilly, South Wales. We are currently looking for a Blending Operative to join the production team. This position requires availability for rotating shifts, including Days (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and Afternoons (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure temperature tolerances are correct and report to technical if out of tolerance.
• Complete blending paperwork, ensuring information is correctly recorded.
• Check blocks of butter for any damage and report to Technical or Team leader.
• Check equipment for any damage and that it is safe to use.
• Follow company produce for health & safety on site.
• Follow clean as you go at all times.
• Ensure area is up to audit standards at all times.
• Ensuring customer specifications are followed at all times, enabling quality standards to be achieved.

Ensure safe systems of work & work instructions are being followed at all times.

Essential

You must be able to work without direct supervision, be self-motivated, and have a strong desire to get the correct result.

• Ability to complete paperwork as required.
• A passion to learn and understand machinery in area.
• Good communicator.
• Clean as you go mentality.
• Adhere to quality standards.
