Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating the ability to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that properties are well-maintained and all repairs are carried out to a high standard. The Handy Man will be responsible for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs, contributing to the overall upkeep of residential or commercial properties.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues needing attention.
• Respond promptly to repair requests from clients or management.
• Install fixtures, fittings, and appliances as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
• Document completed work and report any further issues to management.
• Assist with other maintenance projects as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence is essential.
